Don't be a Richard. Nobody enjoys the person who treats every group project like a one-man kingdom, explains obvious things as if they've discovered fire, and corrects the GPS when it's already taking the fastest route. A Richard will walk into a room, see everyone having a good time, and immediately start a debate about the “proper” way to load a dishwasher. Instead, be the kind of person who brings snacks, laughs at bad jokes, and doesn't turn a simple conversation into a TED Talk. Life is much easier when you're not being a Richard. ?
