You can walk into a house after a long day, and before anyone says hello, your phone has already recognized the network and settled in like it pays rent. The fridge might be empty, the couch might have a mysterious dent shaped exactly like you, and the dog may or may not remember who you are, but the instant that Wi-Fi connects without asking for a password, you know you belong.
