It assumes science is a giant IQ test and religion is the backup plan, when in reality both have inspired people to spend centuries arguing over things nobody can fully prove at family dinners. If intelligence alone settled every question, the internet would be a peaceful place and comment sections would be empty. Instead, humanity has managed to turn both particle physics and theology into fields where experts can spend ten years studying a topic and still end a sentence with, “Well... it’s complicated.”
