Joining the band at just 20 years old, Taylor brought exceptional technical skill and a blues-influenced style that helped shape some of the group's most acclaimed albums, including Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St., and It's Only Rock 'n Roll. Before joining the Stones, he played with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, where he earned a reputation as a gifted young musician. Although he left the Rolling Stones in 1974, Mick Taylor remains highly respected for his expressive guitar playing and is widely regarded as one of the finest rock and blues guitarists of his generation.
